Come and enjoy a peaceful country setting, filled with the sound of music, smells of food, and delightful people. October for me kicks off in Marquand MO, at the annual “Pioneer Days” festival. I’ll be performing “Plein Air” demonstrations throughout the morning and into the afternoon to promote my works at “The Gallery”.
“The Gallery” hosts artist from surrounding areas, of which I feel privileged to have a part. They have 37 of my personal art works displayed, ranging from rural settings to florals, in both watercolor and oils. The hostess Mrs. Dorothy is a treasure as well. Make sure you come by and visit.
Marquand is located just south of Fredicktown and 10 miles east off of Hwy 67, it will be worth every minute.
From Marquand my palette and paints will move over to Ste. Genevieve MO, for a week of Plein Air events - several “paint outs” and activities will fill the week, which culminate in an Art Show and Sale, Saturday and Sunday, October 8th. and 9th.
